Marty has a event this weekend so she won't be on much today. That being said I'll give my two cents. If a post bothers you then report it. Most of the time Moderators will deal with the issue and check it out. If it's really upsetting you then you can send a PM to the poster explaining your concerns about the post. However, the worst thing you can do is respond on the open forum. I've done it several times and all it will get you is:

A warning or points

A new enemy

Aaaggghhh the addiction!!! I just bid on some more SFH eggs on ebay even though I am planning to go drive 3-4 hours to buy some chicks soon. The SFHs are so pretty and for no particular reason I am sure Pip is a boy. I don't know if they feather sexing techniques work on BCMs but if so I have 3or 4 girl chicks(they all look a like so it is hard to be sure if I checked all four)

Hmm, one of my duck eggs pipped over 19 hours ago and has done nothing since. The other egg pipped on the pointy end instead of the blunt end. Anything I need to do for that one or is it going to hatch normally anyway?

Hey guys, my egg that pipped 20 hours ago is trying to zip, I think, but it's just popping more holes in a circle around the original hole. It was a shipped egg and had a nearly detached air cell and as a result its air cell is huge. Do you think it's shrink wrapped in there and can't move to zip? Should I help it? Need input - don't want to lose this guy after everything. It's one of only two survivors from 16 shipped eggs, and the other one has pipped at the wrong end. I need to know what to do about that one too. Any advice is very appreciated.

I wish I could help but I have only hatched 5 chicks out of 3-4dozen chicken eggs and 0 out of a dozen or so duck eggs. I think pipping at the wrong end tends to need help if I remember what I read correctly. Ducks do take longer to hatch and I get impatient with wanting to help. I think I only lost one from not helping but it might have had other problems too.

I helped out my last chick and I think it was a little too early but it turned out ok. Just make sure they can breathe.
