If none of mine develop I give up on my drake and just might have you send me some. I should know in about a week.
I think I've figured out the duck color calculator thing. If my drakes blue swede/welsh harlequin there's about 20 different colors/patterns of duckling I could hatch. If he's blue swede/cayuga I'm going to get all black or blue chicks.
I want different colors of ducklings. Hoping he's swede/WH or I'm gonna need a new drake.
What do you mean, Julie - do you mean you hope your drake is Blue Swedish crossed with a Welsh Harlequin? I guess he looks like a Blue Swedish but you are unsure of his parentage?

He's a mutt. The lady had WH and cayuga drakes. She had buff, blue swedish, cayuga and WH hens. He was all blue with a bit of a messy bib, although now he's getting green spots on his head and reddish brown in his lacing, so I'm pretty sure swedish is the momma. I just don't know what his daddy was, but I don't want all blue/black babies with my khaki girl and his ducklings since they'll be blue/black from him and my ancona's eggs. So I'm hoping he's a swede/WH so I have colorful babies.
Sorry for rambling, I just took nyquil, lol.
This is all three of them when I first got him.
