3 out of 5 duck eggs are clear from what I can tell (day 3), but I have 2 little hearts beating! I think my drake must only like one of the girls.

Now I just have to keep them going for 25 more days. I can't see anything candling the quail eggs, all the spots make it impossible until after day 10, even then you can just see if the egg is getting full or not.

My ducks are swimming in the tub so I decided to check o. How everyone Is doing!! Sounds like duckgirls is getting silkie ducks?? Oooooo that sounds cute!!!

I decited that this year I'm going to concintrate on my blue Swedish ducks and buy a few black and blue males I'm thinking 6 and cull hard down to two. Hopefully one blue one black

I'm not getting turkeys

I've wanted royal palm and blue slate turkeys for years but I think I need to really focus on my ducks. My husband and I started to build a duck coop to breed them

Hey guys. I'm a little concerned because I can't get the bandage off Beaker's head... It's stuck. I've put him in the bath for 2 days and it's stuck by gross stuff. Any advice?

On a positive note: She is doing just fine. I got an extra large dog kennel for her and bunsen to stay in during the day.. (outside), but the big girls can't get to them.

I need to check on that little duck egg and see what's going on in there. (don't tell 70)... Shhhhh!

I'm thinking that's too many different kinds of breeding animals to share one area though, so I'm picking either the turkeys or geese. I think geese would be fun but so would turkeys.

The silkie ducks look so soft. Is there a waiting list for them or anything?

Yeah.. Its sad.. But they do eat a lot!!! So maybe it better this way.. I might go on with lavender orphintons.. I got a black and lavender roo and also a blue, lavander and splash from tod who lives way close to me!!
Also my silkies are so darn cute maybe I'll get more of thoses also

Yes, I think there is a waiting list. Thats why I want to get my order in as soon as I can.

Yikes! $15 a bird? What is their minimum order? I guess I could just look that up. LOL. I want silkie mallards.


Julie: Remember that guy I was telling you about that I sold those ducks to? The one that turned out to be a hottie. He raises midget white turkies. I'd never heard of them before. I could contact him if you ended up wanting a male. Just a thought.
