Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Hi All,
So wish I had joined this site weeks ago. Love all the gorgeous ducks. Please help, If a duckling has pipped internally and got stuck and I helped free it but the little guy won't lift his head on his own, will this get better?

When you assisted, did anything bleed? Did it just hatch? Because sometimes it takes a little bit for the baby to start moving.
In the meantime, get Sav-A-Chick and have the little thing drink it. This gives electrolytes and vitamins to the baby.

I wish you the best.

My duckling loved his stuffy, it was so sweet to see him cuddle up under it. Any more ready to pop out?

I have had two hatch since him. One at 730 pm and one at 11. I've put the one born at about 730 in there with my first duckling and they are already cuddling. And more are on the way!

So exciting, please post some pics when you get a chance.. Congrats!!!

Thanks I've been working so much these last few days or pics would be up already. But I do have 4 little babies and will post pics of them.
The brown one is my oldest at 2 days old! The other ones i'm really not sure who is who because I wasn't home to see how they fluffed up really so when I seen them they all looked the same lol.

Thanks they are so cute! I also have a black one now too. Miss Lydia cheese was doing better until today. I guess my geese ganged up on her and ripped out quite a bit of feathers. I wasn't here unfortunately, as I was at work. The geese are now not liked, but I'm not totally freaked out since I think I know what happened. I think Cheese was in the pool and the geese seeing a duck in the pool probably hopped in it and I'm assuming cheese freaked out and tried to get out but since the pool wasn't full to the top cheese had a hard time getting out so they attacked her. The kiddie pool I have is deeper than the regular ones so the ducks can't touch bottom but the geese can. And when the water is a little low the ducks have a harder time getting out. But when Cheese was in her day pen and would freak out and try to get through the fence the geese would kind of pull her feathers. I'm not sure what heir reasoning is behind attacking her when she freaks out. But I checked her over well and she is OK. Poor girl, she has a rough life. I told my mom she must of been some mass duck murderer or something in a past life and is being horribly punished. I wish I would of been here when it happened.
