I hatch chicks for egg laying but what do I do with all the roosters!

Well they make nice chicken an dumplings. I'd rather humanely process than give away to be used in cock fighting which is very popular in my area of the country. and

I know what you mean. I had a chick pip last night (day 19) and then nothing, I am driving myself cra-cra by checking every 2 hours. Patience is a virtue that seems to slip away when I need it the most.

Question: Who hatches chicks and ducks together, does it work well, and how does it differ from hatching ducks alone? I have one bator and set duck eggs last Friday (3, Pekin).. Now I have chicken eggs that I would like to add today or tomorrow.

I would recommend buying a separate incubator for the chicken eggs. Ducks and chickens need different humidity requirements and accommodating one species will be a death sentence for the others.
