I have followed along, drop in every so often to see the cute pictures of the duckies. Georgio is my favorite. My hubby says no to ducks, and right now don't have the space or time, and already have too many mouths to feed.

Someday maybe, but don't really know anything about them, so just kind of checking out the various breeds. Must say those silkies look fun, and Corvallis (Holderread's) is only about 175 miles from me. hahaha Do you have a neighbor kid that would be willing to clean duck areas for $$? I know what you mean about "promises", but maybe you need to "remind" him a little more often . . . like "if I have to have surgery again, you're going to have to do a lot more for a lot longer!!!" It's really hard to sit back and see things not being done the way you would do them, but in the long run, you (and your ducks) will be better off for it if you take care now. Talking from experience - I broke my hip several years ago, and was told by Dr. I couldn't do "anything". I felt really guilty, and I figured out ways to do some things, but my hubby got stuck with the bulk of it, and we all survived. Take care and hope your dr. appt. goes well.

Yeah, I think that Zoro has blue in him. Blue fawn mallard perhaps. That's my guess!! They are all looking fantastic.

Hope things go well for your toe on Friday!! That's bad about dropping the roll of tape on it. A couple of years ago I broke a toe after dropping a massive hardwood breadboard on it. The pain was unbelievable. So I can only imagine how much grief your toe has given you.

I sold two Blue Swedish today. I miss their cute faces

But the lady I sold them to seems lovely and she was so thrilled to have them

I'm confident they'll have a very good home with her.

Hey everyone. Nothing from eggy. I candled last night, and saw her trying to internally pip but it wasn't with vigor. So I wonder if this is a weak little duck and if she'll even make it. Haven't touched the bator this morning. Don't want to have my award revoked.


SM: I hope everything goes well at that appt! Husbands always help for the first few days. They have good intentions, but they are not biologically programmed to do all that stuff. Everytime I have a baby my husband is great for about 3 to 4 days, after that I'm back to laundry and diapers!!

ok still only 1 hatch still with us but still not right
we went out and got chick saver and vit you guys rec.

he took some of both last night

he is in the brooder box now and fluffed up
but his neck is still not right

my other eggs still nothing

I am leaving them in awhile longer just in case

odd thing is only 1 of my eggs hatched
nothing from the other 2 peoples eggs

DG glad about your ducks being home with you

EV Your eggs should be there by friday. When I get home I will send you the tracking number. Being sent to you UPS. Hopefully you get some good duckies. I swear they all jack up their prices during christmas to mail things. You would think those eggs are gold.

Presents were sent to my grandson too. They should get the presents tomorrow
wonder how mad the adoptive mom will be. Oh well.

Wow I wish I could have more but as hubby always says you can only ride one at a time.
