Probably. I'm pretty sure I'd pay that much for one if I saw any for sale around here.

I saw that you have shown your Paint, and done quit well. I just do trail riding. That's was one of the reasons we moved from Iowa to Oregon - the great trails. The lack of snow, sub-zero temps and humidity were a bonus! LOL

I don't know anything about hatching geese and turkeys, but what if they all hatch? That would be a lot of fuzzy butts! I am also doing the NYD hatch, but I only have 16 chicken eggs in the bator, and am hoping for maybe a 50% hatch.

Nine had a very, very rough ride with the good ole USPS.

I still go occasionally to visit family though. My grandma lives in Waterloo, other grandma and some aunts and uncles in Oelwein(where I was born, little bitty place

and a few other places in NE IA, hubby's dad's side of his family lives around Sioux City. I spent a lot of summers in Iowa growing up.

If you get a good hatch rate you'll be cleaning a lot of brooders.
Poults are the sweetest things ever. They aren't near as cute as ducklings, but they are the most fun sweet little babies you will ever have. Much friendlier than any of my ducklings or chicks have ever been, with a quarter of the effort to make them that way. I can't wait until I get a tom for my midget white hen and have some turkey eggs to hatch. I need to hurry up and get my last few Christmas presents bought, then I have 4 birthdays in the next 6 weeks I have to get presents for, then I will be on a mission to get turkey girls boyfriend before breeding season.
