My husband was offered a job with a competitor in his field today.. anyway, long story short, he has accepted the position starting in January. So..... "our farm" is becoming more of a reality, because there was a significant pay raise involved.

Ok, I'm excited. We've been looking anyway, but we're being picky about location. Wanting to be close to my parents and in the same school district.. You know the deal.

But my whole point is: I will have NO hatching restrictions on me at that point.

QJ, that's wonderful about the new job. How awesome to have lots of space for MORE ANIMALS!!!

Santa brings Muscovies only to those people who have been exceptionally good. It's a privilege, in fact, and a sign of great respect and high status. But, any who reject a Santa-brought Muscovy will have befallen upon them great calamities. So tell that to your husband.

I love silkie ducks. I want around 5 total (2 males 3 hens) but I can only get three in spring. Then im going to hatch until I get more hens. Do you think I could get away selling ducklings for $10? Since their really $15? (i should be think about this next year, lol, like once im actually hatching silkies. Lol)

Ya know.. Maybe so. You can just try it and if you don't get any bites, you lower your price.

SM, that has to be really hard, especially during the holidays, but QJ is right, and he will look you up. We have an adopted son, and it was very important to him to find his "biological" family. Now he stays in contact with his mother and his two sisters.

Craz, I see you have horses, what kind?

The one in the picture is my new one I am training myself. She is half Morgan and half Mustang (I call her my Mortang). I have a sorrel/white Paint mare (my dependable, calm horse when I want a nice relaxing ride), a Fox Trotter and a 30 year-old quarter horse, who is "retired". I saw that you have shown your Paint, and done quit well. I just do trail riding. That's was one of the reasons we moved from Iowa to Oregon - the great trails. The lack of snow, sub-zero temps and humidity were a bonus! LOL

Ya know.. Maybe so. You can just try it and if you don't get any bites, you lower your price.

I cant wait for 1213. Spring will be awesome that year! But im not rushing it. Still have this spring, ya know?
