Okay the Light sussex is on the rare breeds watch list. Basically meaning there are around 500 breeding hens left, (or something like that.) Maybe people just don't like the looks of them. Or maybe it's just my lucky day.

Either way, I need a good laying chicken, And I prefer to like their looks too. Those red sex links were the best layers EVER but they are so flighty and weird.

im thinking about adding two or three more chickens since im only keeping 2 or 3 orps.

How much does one standard sized chicken eat? Im thinking my limit on chickens is 5-6

Oh yeah!!! I need to cull a few turkeys since they seem to think eggs are for eatting and not laying.

They think every time i open the barn it's free buffet time.

They remind me of light brahmas except they don't have feathered legs, but from what I remember hearing about them they are good layers and they sure are pretty, and you'd be keeping the line going. I'd go for it.

4 oz..... Mmmmmmm idk doesn't seem to be that much.. Is it cooped up or free ranged

Free ranged. I free range all the birds.
