You can try to give her an overload of electro light put it in a dropper and put it in her beak and rubb her Kinda hard to stimulate her. I'm sorry duck girl some times they don't make it and when they don't it's usually for the best.. Weak chicks make weak chickens that produce more weak chicks.

she was fine yesterday, but when broody hen got up the chick was kicking in the hay underneath her

Interesting. Have you seen her eating and drinking before? Because if she's blind she might not be getting food/water. And if that's the case, she'll act like she's starving.

get her warmed up quick and try some warm water with dissolved sugar in it. So sorry DG, thats the hardest part of having animals any animal.
