well she probably is scared, but you are doing the right thing by warming her, maybe try wrapping her very lightly in an old clean towel just to make her feel secure, then try giving her a little feed mashed up with warm water, it could be mama hasn't been getting them out to eat because of the cold.

I don't think I'd want to see pictures of ducklings pulled out if the shell at various stages of development. But candling with a very powerful torch every couple of days and photographing that's be awesome. You'd have to rig up some kind of special equipment.

I think that balut is disgusting and cruel. Except if we are talking about emus.

DG- Sorry about your chick. I hope she pulls through. If not try not to feel too bad, it happens sometimes. I lost my little quail a few days ago. It was doing great eating and running and peeping, then just stopped and laid there all tired and was gone in a few hours. Keep her warm and try to get her to eat and drink, they are so little they don't have much reserves if they start to get sick.

Not sure how im suppost to make her eat. She doesnt want to. Its pretty hard getting any water down her throat as well...
