That is a beautiful tractor! Whoever gets to live in there should be very happy!

Just noticed on your siggy you have pheasants. What kind? I'm thinking of building an aviary type pen for my calls, and was wondering if I'd be able to put a pair of goldens or amherst in there with them. If not, next year I'm getting a pair of wood ducks or mandarins.
Well, I only have ring-neck which I am verrrrry serious about opening door and saying "GO AWAY!" WARNING!!

Don't ask that question on the "Pheasant" topic, the know-it-alls on pheasants will NOT like it. I haven't really co-mingled flocks, but I put chicks together with no problem, in fact I bought 3 Orpington/Americauna Xs to keep a single pheasant chick company. Bad me, (the experts say you should NEVER put together cause the chickens have "diseases" that will kill the pheasants, and you should never cross breed!!!! That's like a MAJOR NO NO! Of course, maybe ducks and pheasants are OK.

Lol, I know. I've posted a few times about my quail. Turkey people too, although my turkey and ducks and chickens have always been together. I think it's silly to have seperate pens and rotate free ranging when they can all live and free range together perfectly fine. My quail pen is not near the chickens, but when they are out the chickens eat all the food dropped and the turkey and a few of the pullets will also jump on top. I haven't had any problems with sick birds. I only want one pair of pheasants. I don't really like my quail, but pheasants are so pretty. I figure the ducks would stick by the water, a few pheasants for the rest, and some doves or something else that'll use the top should be able to too.,as long as there's enough room for everyone to have some space.

They live together at the zoo aviaries...
