really? I want Mandarins so bad. I think I might drive to McMurrays and buy a pair the end of january or February. Birthday present to myself.

I keep mine at 30-40% for everything until lockdown. I hear too many horror stories about babies pipping and drowning, so I'm scared to put the humidity too high.During the summer it stays around 40 without adding any water at all. Since the house is so dry during the winter from the heater and all I have 2 cups of water in there with sponges to up it a bit otherwise the humidity's only about 15%, but I don't worry about it other than that during incubation. I also mist waterfowl eggs twice a day, so that raises the humidity a little bit, but not enough to drown the chickens. This is my first time incubating goose eggs though, and I still have almost 3 weeks to go, so who knows if I'm doing it right. I'd rather have shrinkwrapped birds I can maybe help though than dead drowned ones, so hopefully I'm doing the right thing.

DG- I'm not mad. I don't mind being called Evelle, there's a lot worse I've been called, lol.
Jaz and SM- SM had a good hatch too, I have good hatches with my dry incubation too. I don't know if humidity is as important as everyone says. Guess it just depends who you ask what answer you'll get.

Just out of curiosity, do you keep it that high for chickens too?

According to my bator.....

HUMIDITY:
Chickens, Turkeys, Guineas, Pheasants, Quail ~ 82 - 84 degrees
Geese ~ 84-86 degrees
Ducks ~ 84-85 degrees

TEMP:
Chicken, Pheasant, Quail ~ 99.75 degrees
Turkey, Guinea, Duck, Goose ~ 99.5 degrees

EMU (for COCO) 95.5

I also have days of incubation for all fowl !

I thought it was interesting that Ducks are 28 days BUT the exception is MUSCOVY ducks are 35-37 days!

But I need my humidity up for my ducks don't I? What does the humidity need to be for geese?

If you cannot spell your breeds name correctly you shouldn't list/sell them... It is Purebred or Pure Breed

NOT Pure BREAD
