If I ever get any I plan on getting them from here http://www.sunnydalefarms.org/home If I pay that much for eggs I don't want to take a chance getting them shipped.

The Legbars. Cross between a brown leghorn and a barred or whatever. But some people thing there is some sussex in there somewhere too. Are those the ones?

Well been kinda a bad day.... Lost one chukar

One of my cayugas was outside & laying on its side ~ Brought in, heated, forced sav a chic, and some yummy food (now doing Great)

I also think I am going to lose a Silkie..... It just keeps trying to poop non stop like a blockage, I read up on Pasty butt & have done EVERYTHING they recommend. Is not getting any better... I am trying to decide wether to cull or not? I hate seeing any animal in pain.

Any ideas?

You all know what's sad? My 11 month old felt hot, so I took her temp. 101.2. You know what the first thought that popped in my head was after where's the ibprofren? She's the perfect temp to stick a few eggs under.... I think I need to take a break from hatching lol.

They are an autosexing breed that lays bluish eggs, recently imported from england if I remember right.

Yep, or take my own temperature. Maybe I'm the perfect temperature to hatch eggs, happens from hovering over the incubator too much I think.
