No we rent the land, barn, and shelter. There is a house there that is rented out to some other people. I would love to move out to the country ad have my horse, goats and duckies with me. We would have so many animals though thats all we would be paying for is animal feed.

I just wish you could be closer to them. It would do you a lot of good. I have to drive 15 minutes to go "home" (parents) too and with most of my chickens going to be out there... we have been looking for a long time for the perfect house, next to them, in the right school district.. etc.

Anyway, I know how it sucks to not be right there next to them.

Oh calm down. Your ducky will start laying REAL soon. Probably tomorrow. There could be an egg out there right now!

I'm anxious for Beaker and Bunsen to start doing there "thing" too. Waiting sucks! At least you don't have seasonal layers!

that's why I kinda want to get a duck that's NOT seasonal! Those anaconas are REALLY growing on me. And the Welsh Harelequins. But I LOVE the snowy mallards. So I'll get those first. I also like the chocolate runners.

even if there was, i cant incubate it. my moms friend is barrowing my bator.... i sure hope she doesn't brake it...... i didn't realize till AFTER i let her barrow it, that shes the kind that wont pay for stuff she brakes.... and it was a $120 set!..... now im worrying myself!..... URG!

Mine are the same way. I control them with food. I feed them 3x's a day otherwise the birds get all the leftovers. Now that I'm doing that they come to the back door and quack, I go out and feed them, and they'll eat out of my hands again. (Except for rosalee, but she's always been weird. )
