Oh when Dante and Ralpy see the bowl or the bag, they come running up to the side to eat out of my hand. Sometimes they get greedy and try to take it all and bite me at the same time. So then I ust get in the pen and chase them in the house and feed the others out of my hands. What all treats can you feed ducks. They love peas, carrots, fried eggs and ice cream. Can they have fried rice?? What else can they have?

My horse has been getting whole carrots and my hubby said that he didn't know what to think the first time he got one that was frozen. We leave the carrots in a feed bucket in his feed stall and he gets one every day. but its been so cold the carrots are frozen. The goats love them too.

My ducks won't eat treats AT ALL. They are so weird. Beaker likes Egg nog though. My grandpa used to give his little ones milk. But it wasn't 4 bucks a gallon then.

My ducks outside won't eat the treats I make them, like peas and eggs. They love the scratch I buy for them. If I make up peas, carrots and eggs and leave them out in the kennel, they will eat them while I am not there. I want to get the babies liking treats though.

And what do you think of the blue swedes? I've always kinda liked those blue swedes.

I would REALLY scare him though. I am still a tomgirl and my daddy's girl through and through and I can sometimes be pretty raunchy mouth. I think me and EV are more alike from what I have read on her post on FB. Man her and her hubby can fight on here though. WOW. Jeff is usually gone too much for us to fight. LOL

A nicely marked magpie shouldn't look like an ancona. Anconas should be more spotty, while magpies have the spot on their head, and a saddle on their back. Ancona's were developed from magpies though, and they are difficult to tell apart if they don't have great markings.

I love my blue swede. She is a real sweetie. I don't know if she is laying though. I think she is because there are 2 nests in the housing but 3 different looking types of eggs. Of course the Cayuga's eggs are still light bluish/gray right now so I can always tell hers. She has about 20 eggs out there now. I wish I coudl get them before the cold gets to them but I don't get out there in the mornings anymore. My nephew opens the tarps up and lets them out in the mornings and I am sure they are done laying by then,
