Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Good morning, hatching friends. :)

Hope everyone's eggs are doing well today. My guys are now on day 18 and still developing nicely. Should get my ebay goose eggs today, and my BYC goose eggs and ancona duck eggs on Wednesday. Woo hoo. I am going to have a very full bator!

When i said I was going to take a nap yesterday, I ended up going out cleaning the duck house, Visited with them because they are both so lonely, Cleaned all the ice and snow off of hubby's truck, Shoveled the driveway and sidewalk outback, Shoveled the steps up front, Came back in and cleaned the baby duck's front porch, took a shower, turned all the eggs in both incubators. Then got supper started. It was a busy day.

SM: You crack me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use living social too. And we have another one here called Dealbug.com Check that one out.

sm you crack me up! err.. excuse me i mean quack me up! =D
ok my eggspert friends. i need a few questions answered since hopefully by friday i will be getting eggs of my own! FINALLY!!

1.) in the egg carton, (for transport) bigg end up, or little end?
2.) does it matter which way on their side they lay in the incubator, i thought i once seen sumthin bout a certain end towards the front?
4.) so im appreantly getting a mix og eggs, and since muscovies take longer, is that gona be an issue?
and i forgetting anything? i had more questions but forget now. gota love that . i was layin in bed thinkin when i get up im going to ask the girls about this, and this, and this.

i know the humidity, and temp.
turning , cooling, and misting.

ohh and questions bout the big little ducks (haha ) the black bibbed hen looks like her back end is gettin kinda saggy.
a sign shes gettin ready to lay?? (we have having oddly warm weather for this time of year)
none of the other hens look this way. and she didnt last time i checked either, until today.

WTH? I thought I'd posted on here a few times already today. I hate this BYC!!!!!
Ok, good morning SM! Lol, you can sure talk a lot. Now I can't remember anything I thought I posted. I didn't win my silkie eggs. I saved the seller so I'll try again soon. If not, there is a good breeder about an hour north of me. I think I might email her to ask how much a good quality white silkie pair from her would be, but then I still have to wait months and months until one's available.
CG- Go to the goose thread. At the top in the stickies there's a waterfowl incubation guide that's been lots of help. I think scovie eggs are pretty difficult to incubate in a bator. I've read someone asking a question about saggy butt ducks before and I think it's normal. I'd think they should start laying soon, so that could be right. Yay! Are you hatching some of their eggs once they start?
Ok, going to try posting again, hope it shows up this time!

I think I am going to have to try and trade my blue drake. He and Mr Worf got into a big fight this morning. It wasn't quite as bad as the swans(muscovys) attacking each other on youtube. Maybe it was because I had Mr Worf and Keiko inside over night.
