Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

You guys I am really really concerned about DG. Her email came back undeliverable, She has not contacted me in any way at all. I don't know what to do I'm really worried about her

CG: They are penned up, and ususally lay in the same place. I would love to have an omelet though, so they need to get it together.

And I'm calm about the owl now. I just wasn't expecting that one. Middle of the day and all.

Oh and EVELLE:

With 5 more goose eggs from Celtic and a dozen ancona duck eggs from Aurora Springs on their way.... not sure everything will be able to fit in my LG!

The thing that worried me is she does her school work on the computer. So is she even doing school? Just sayin'.

Thats what i was thinking... is she was on here alot.. so maybe she had to much fun not and got the repercutions of it.. :(
i hope we see her soon.

Thanks Julie. :) By the way, how long did you let your shipped eggs settle before setting them? Did you settle them at 90 degree angle with pointy end down.... or more of a 45 degree angle?

I hope 24 duck eggs and 10 goose eggs will fit in an LG. Guess we will find out tomorrow. :)

I sat them at about a 45 degree angle pointy end down for 12 hours, then put them in the incubator without turning or moving for 24 hours. It wasn't that cold when they came, and I wasn't sure how old they were, so I wanted them in the incubator fast. The ones that didn't develop I let sit a whole day straight up and down before I put them in the incubator, but I'm pretty sure that's not why they were clear.
