Awesome! Congrats! Just curious, but what steps did you have to go through for the testing? And can you just get your waterfowl tested, or do you have to test all the birds on your place?

here in Missouri you call the state number and they send paperwork asking for things like name, address, farm name and you have to list all the breeds you have. You mail that back, then they contact you to set a date and time for testing. You test all the birds. Takes about 30 sec. per bird once you have them caught. So it goes really fast if everyone is in smaller cages so you can just grab them.

It went faster then I dared hope. Jerry sat in his chair and held the geese with mom, daughter and I catching everone. I'm glad I chose the feed shed for the location as we could just let the waterfowl go when they were done then herd them into their seperate pens. The guy thought the Dewlaps where our biggest guys... Till we carried out Squishy and company

Wow, Marty. I didn't know you went through that. I didn't realize waterfowl could be A.I. incubators. Thanks for the info.
It's really sad. I have an Arab mare I adopted from S.A.F.E. a few years ago. She came from a highly publicized neglect case in Monroe in 2008 (you can google Jean Elledge to refresh your memory).

We have bought & sold alot of horses from auction. We would rescue train ~ and rehome. We had one beautiful stocky draft type girl with a long long mane & tail named Mia we kept for life. It would be hard not to want to take them all home! Good thing they don't have an Emu Auction
