I have a question about when I can put my ducklings outside. I was planning on putting them out during the day and bringing them in at night when they are 3 weeks old. When can the go out full time? Its about 65* during the day and goes down to 45* at night. Putting them out during the day would cut down on their mess in the kiddie pool I have them in right now. They can make such a mess even when they can only fit their heads in the water dish....
Quote: if there is movement in them...all on it's own....then what might be happening is the development is deep inside the egg!! day 7 is too early to decide...what kind of ducks are these...how long is the incubation period for them...average is 28 days some are several days longer....so it may take longer for you to see much...even with a chicken egg which is 21 day we wait until day 10 to decide...don't give up yet! I know the stress your feeling and it never get better lol your already in love![]()

Take them out and watch how they act, if you can put up some kind of wind block so the wind isn't blowing directly on them they maybe okay. But if you put them out and they all huddle together even with wind block then it's too cold for them and you dif need to bring them in at night. Plus I wouldn't let them be in water outside. They can chill pretty easy at 3 weeks.I have a question about when I can put my ducklings outside.
