I will be praying for you! And if you dont set anymore, then you wont get a drake to fertilize any more eggs! Unless you get a new drake!

Well, that's a perfectly good reason to set more eggs. I can't argue with that.

I'm not sure.. Maybe I'm the coolest.. No, I think it's Miss Lydia. She's probably the coolest.

You are definitely from the coolest state. I heart Tennessee! (specifically Nashville.)

I'll send some prayers your way! Something tells me it's hard to keep you down. I bet you'll be up in no time!

(And I'd still set that bator...

As soon as I am home which should be about an hour I am setting eggs. I have to go drop off stuff for my 4h girls, go get sawdust, chopped paper, some frozen pizza for dinner (I'm not cooking on a Friday night) then I will go home and set eggs. Keeping me down is hard. I tore my knee cap up working on a wild mustang I adopted and they said 10 weeks, I was riding again in 3. I can not stand to do nothing and I hate other people doing my chores because my way is the only right way to do them. Talk to you when I make it home.

I would really listen to your husband and your doctor and NOT set those eggs. A drake is easily come by and you don't need the stress of trying to take care of more when you already will need a lot of help with what you have. Although its a warm fuzzy feeling to set eggs, honestly, not only do you have to deal with the incubator, you will be brooding ducklings when you ought to be off your feet and taking care of them. Especially since you've had a lot of trouble with this repair in the past. I've had foot surgery and I know how incredibly painful the healing process it. I suggest that you would be better off just waiting on the eggs, or maybe you have a local friend that would hatch them and raise them for a bit until you are back on your feet? This is not worth setting back your recovery and stressing you and your husband over. You can get a drake from someone, they aren't that hard to find.
