Hey SM! I hope you find a cayuga drake

do you have any black eggs in the incubator? If you do then they are at leased half cayuga...

I think that the Silver Appleyard is the better bird (but I don't know much about either breed). But I'd consider their use, as GrannyCarol talked about. Eggs or size?

I'm looking for pretty babies. Not really the eggs and definitely not meat I could not eat my babies .. ever​

Well, the Campbell will give you black, blue and chocolate with your Swedish and chocolate and lilac with your Buff. With the Cayuga you'll just get black.

With the Appleyard you'll get things that look kind of like the Appleyard with your Buff and you'll get blue and black with the Swedish and black with the Cayuga.

I kinda like what the Khaki will give you, plus you will get better egg layers.

All options will give you pretty offspring though

I heard they can lay white eggs too. But most lay black. They can also lay green.

Chicken update: I got 9 for 9. Had to help out 4. That's 100% hatch rate! Woo Hoo!!
