Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Quick question hatch date is december 14th. Which means I go on lock down the morning of the 12th correct? My problem is I have added more eggs to the incubator, what do I do about turning them during lock down? I know I know I should of held off until after these were born but I didn't wanna take a chance that none of them would hatch. I have 5 additional eggs in there that are going to need to be turned. Do I just leave them alone, put them where I can't easily get to them and do a quick turn, or what do I do with them? Thanks guys.

I put mine in a place where I could do a turn quickly and close the top.

Also, as long as the eggs aren't on their first couple of days it won't hurt to not turn them for a day or 2, so I'd just keep turning them until you have pips, then start turning them again once the eggs have hatched.

My duck decided she has had enough of sitting. She was off the nest all night and the egg was stone cold this morning. Oh well. Ducks will be ducks! I'm not going to try to resurrect it (my bator is with a friend anyway). Not a biggie in the scheme of things. At least I know her eggs are fertile.
