my best friend at my church told me he is moving next year. We are really close and are really good friends, I cant beilive he kept it from me this long

its not gonna be the same when he leaves

My duckies just went outside!

they have a heated coop and a run. Had to baby proof it though! Lol. Peeps got out and was being chaced by his own mom and dad!

but one of the rouen hens (not his mom) sat on him and hissed at peeps mom and dad. And was totally mothering him! It was cute. It I trusted her I would let her be in with the babies. But cant take the chance that she turns on me

QJ your ducklings are getting big, your girls are cute. I have 3 girls too, Laura is 11 months, Cara 2, Evie 6
SM it can take awhile from pip to hatch, but looks like you'll be getting ducklings early, keep us updated
DG Sorry about your friend moving, will it be very far away?
Hubby brought home a baby bunny today. He got it from his friend a few houses away, so I went and picked out one for me too.

They are so cute, and tiny right now. They'll be big though, rex / flemish giant mix babies. They have a few purebred giants too, I'm trying really hard not to go back and get this pretty silver one...
But here are the 2 babies we got.

DG: That's awful news. I know how close you to are. You've mentioned him before. But luckily you have Facebook and will be able to drive soon. (Like road trip) How far away is he moving?

SM: Don't freak! They will be fine this time! What's going on with them now?

JulieNKC: I was thinking of adding a bunny. Waiting for a good time to approach the hubby. We had them as kids, but we ate them. (Well, I didn't... my grandpa did.) I refused to eat rabbits. Gross.

Finally home. Hubby and I went to Target and did some Christmas shopping for the grandkids. Still have to get a few more things for the grandkids and then try to figure out what to get my son. He never wants anything so I have to guess what to get him. Christmas cards are done and ready to go to the post office. Have to wrap my grandson's presents and get them mailed off and HOPE that the adoptive parents accept the package.... long story to hard to get into.

Checked my eggs when I got home and they are chipping away. One egg rolled almost 2" from where it was at when I left! I will candle them again the next time I turn them which will be shortly before I go to bed tonight. Last time I candled them this morning ALL of them had made it through the membrane!! I will take my time and let them be ... for as long as I can.

DG so sorry that your friend is moving so far away. Hopefully you both have computers with a webcam and then you can get Skype and talk to each other and see each other.

Julie... those bunnies are so cute. One of my 4h girls showed Giant Flemish bunnies and they are such nice and sweet things.

Quacker, I can not believe how BIG Bunsen and Beaker have gotten.

Hubby is fixing TatorTot Cassarole for dinner tonight YUMMY . In fact I think it is done. YES I am starved. BBL
