Well on wednesday night I said "bye bye buddy!" And he said "I love you! Bye" and I said "love you to" (and kinda wanted to do this

i think its just as a friend i tell my friend all the time before we hang up the phone we love each other.. EVEN in front of my husband its a differant kinda love..

Just ask him DG. You are a brave beautiful young lady. Just ask and find out. Next time you hang up and he says he loves you, just ask him how.

Asking someone whether they like you in a lurve kind of way can end well (mutual admiration) or badly (seriously painful mutual embarrassment). Unless you want it to change in some way (e.g. to stop altogether or to move towards a boyfriend direction) I'd just leave it as it is. Sounds like he is a nice guy anyway.
