Yeah, I love the silver too. I would hatch blues this time though - I've got a couple of pairings that'd give me 100% blues. The most demand is for the blue ones.... Kind of unfair on the other colours.

I think you'll really like having geese. Anyone who I know who has them absolutely loves them.

So I think it's worth 'trading' a few ducks for some geese

Think I might go and have a nap soon..... Got people coming over later and I'm really tired. But maybe not as tired as you since it's midnight for you!

Personaly I like the blacks and splash more

the biggest demand is for blues around here to. Most ive seen have VERY splotchy bibs to.

Some people dont care about their black and splash sweds having proper bibs, but dont they need to have good bibs to produce decent ducklings?

and then (sometimes) they complane when the babies are bad quality

Wow, geese eat less than ducks? I never knew that. I guess they prefer grass.

Yep, their main diet IS grass. Hopeing they eat hay to

that would help me with winter feeding

Ok I am having a brain fart right now, maybe its lack of sleep, maybe its the drugs.... but for the life of me I can not remember, when putting the eggs in the incubator, it's the small end pointing towards back of incubator. Is that right????
