Both eggs are now rocking. I've quit turning them since they are ending up however they want anyway.

My silkie is sitting in her box in the kennel still, I'm hoping I didn't break her bringing her in. If she's smart she'll stay broody and spend the next month in the nice warm house getting everything brought to her.

You need to pick him up and carry him around with you, I did that with my roo when he was young and he has never jumped on me or bit me, every chance i got when he was still in the coop I'd pick him up and carry him as i was feeding or just out with them. He's such a good boy going on 3 years old now. Course this may not work on all breeds but this guy is half game.

the ducks are finally not scared of me. i was giving them fresh bedding and they all came inside with me

can someone tell me why she is allowed inside but everyone told me i wasnt??

My first rooster was like that. He bit me once and got knocked across the coop, never tried it again with me. Everyone else he still considered fair game though. Unfortunately for him he started acting like that while I was in the hospital having my youngest, and I had surgery a month later so I didn't have time to retrain him. Not to mention it's hard to find people to take care if your chickens while you're in the hosp when they attack people. When he flogged my 2 year old it was the end for him.

My roo I have now has always been a perfect gentleman. He keeps his distance from everyone, and is sweet to the girls. I do occasionally pick him up and carry him around, just cause he's so cute and fluffy, lol. I also don't let him eat from my hand. Now he doesn't even try, he just runs up and starts clucking for the girls to get their treats. Give him a little more time too, those hormones can make teenage roos turn into real jerks for a bit, but sometimes they just need a few weeks and they snap out of it.

I love that calico kitten. I had one for 16 years, if I ever get another cat it'll be another calico. The calls are cute too, they look like little toy duckies. Did you hatch them or buy them as ducklings? Are calls hard to hatch?
