Ahhhhh . . . . finally got caught up and it's 11:56. I'm 4 minutes ahead of schedule! I'm in SW Oregon.

SM, hope you start feeling better. Keep bugging your doctor, it doesn't sound like something you (and your daughter) want to mess around with.

Julie - stay off ebay (or not) LOL

JZ - fantastic info on picture color.

Also, I'm firing up my grandpa's old cabinet incubator in the spring. I think it holds 300 eggs. He has another one that the motor is broken, but my FIL is a retired electrician who can fix ANYTHING and he's going to fix it for me. So... Woo Hoo!

I just set my Light sussex and LO's. The sussex eggs were SO Flippin' big that I couldn't put some of them next to each other in the turner. I've never seen eggs this big.

My duck eggs have internally pipped. They are right on schedule to hatch on Tuesday, hopefully Monday. Come on little duckies, I need the room!

I only put in a $13 bid and it's for 24 eggs, I was pretty sure I'd get outbid and wasn't staying up to watch it, lol. At least if I hatch a trio from them, and a goose or 2 from my eggs I won't have to buy any since that's all I want. Stupid hatcheries not having what I want available, it's all their fault you know.

I made a facebook page for my birds too, even though I don't really have any I'll be selling for awhile. I need somewhere to post all my pictures without annoying non chicken people on my facebook page.

It's 3G waterfowl (3G for my 3 girls, I'm not very good at naming things
