No. WAY further than that. Like 3/4ths down the egg. I'm tellin' ya it's crazy! I do see veins, but no movement.

I have a couple of calls, and my goose eggs are like that. I think it's fromthe ruptured air cells.I can still see movement in m.

Thanks for the tips!! I am watching both bators like a hawk right now!! All 12 are still jiggling and the movement is getting more obvious, but no internal pips yet. I will candle again after sunset.

Julie, as it appears my duckies are happy to just dance around inside their eggs for DAYS before pipping, we may still be on track for hatching together!

The thing I don't like about this cabinet bator is you can't see in it unless you open it. GQF makes a door that you can replace it with that's a clear pexi. I hope it fits! This sucks!

That would drive me nuts. If nothing else, couldn't you buy a piece of plexi glass, cut a hole in the door, and seal it in there?

By the way, my other bator is sitting nice and steady at 99 and 51% humidity. Can't wait to candle those eggs on Monday!!

Our cabinet has a viewing window in the door, otherwise I would go bonkers not being able to see inside. Good luck everyone in lockdown. Just walked inside to yet another Lav Ameracuana hatched out. Oh and we had bunnies born this week.
