Yay on the silkies!!

SM, as soon as the membrane seals the air into the fat end, I would lay horizontally.

Chicken, that's a horrible dream! I'm with you though on loving anconas... although there is one cayuga that I'm becoming quite fond of. He's the biggest and definitely the smartest of the group.

SM: I'm down to 4 Apples. But they are looking GREAT. I just candled this morning and they're all kickin'. Suck about the cayugas.
I have 3 chickens due this friday too.

I think I will let both sellers know whats going on. Especially about the Cayugas. I had them all sold too. I just took more eggs from my Buffs nest so I could have more buff appleyards. Her eggs have all been fertile too and strong heart beats in them.

These shipping problems suck.. Hopefully in the spring and summer they will be better.

I just heard from PRun and she said my order didn't go through the right way. It went through.. well here. I don't know.

stacy,
after looking at your order, i see you didnt sent it to us. you need to cancel that order in paypal. then you can just order through the site. or the payment can be made at paypay.....but you have to use the name [email protected]. for some reason you sent it to[email protected]

I ordered through their site, so I don't understand what to do. Yay!

Raise humidity to increase air cell, lower humidity to decrease air cell. I think thats what it is

No, ROFL. LOWER humidity to increase air cell. RAISE humidity to slow air cell down. Lowering humidity = drying out the egg = bigger air cell. Raising humidity is the other way round.

Maybe you could make that your next tatt, SM, then you won't forget ;)

You can never actually make an air cell smaller. It can only get bigger. But you can control how fast that happens with humidity.

they are due on the 17th so they have alittle more time to go. I can't tell if the membrane is sealed or not. Some of the air cells still have fluid in them. And the air cells are Huge. Should I raise or lower the humidity? It is at around 70% now.

I thought about that after i typed it. DUH to me. So since I have some really HUGE air cells I need to Raise my humidity

Here is my new ducky, The hen is doing a good job. She hasn't taken it to the food and water yet but I;d expect that sometime today. You can see its head poking out under her wing. It's black - meaning the duck who I thought was the mum is not the mum (mum = mom).
