That's wonderful! I can't wait to get my geese. Ahem, I mean funny looking ducks. Romans aren't supposed to get very big, wonder how long I could pull that off? Poor ducks with funny hair dos and colds that make their quacks sound like honks, that's all.

Julie! I thought you left. Isn't that AWESOME!! I was getting nervous. Now I just hope things continue. I don't wanna think about what you just went through.

Who did you order yours from? I'm sure you said, but I don't remember much with these kids around sucking my brain cells out.

Ideal. They are supposed to hatch next wednesday, so I should have them in a little over a week. I think I'm going to try brooding them with the calls for now. They are small geese, and my calls wills hopefully be a week older if they ever hatch. I need to get the big brooder ready this weekend to move the big ducklings out. They are almost feathered, and I'll put a heat lamp on them. As long as it stays like it has been they should be warm enough, if it gets too cold at night before they are ready they will just have to stay the night inside in a box.

Well, let me know what happens when he finds out. I may need some advice. Right now I'm going to go with "They're just really big, funny looking ducks". Or maybe, "What the heck did they send me?" Not sure at this point.

Mine is outside now as of yesterday to make room for these chicks. He likes being out there but he's bored. I feel bad for him.

Tmw I'm getting some Swedish Flower Hens from a woman on here that lives a few miles down the road. I forget her name on here. Pretty birds and NO shipping.
