I'm going to get a GFM membership here in a few.

Why is everything being highlighted?

ETA: Nevermind, it's not showing up highlighted just when I'm typing. WEird.

What do you get being a GFM member?

SM, I hope so too!! I am bummed that Pete has not been online since we posted last about our eggs... would love to get his input.

Mine only get in the pool for a bit and then back out into the sun or into the shelter.

mine are either not hat smart or they find happiness in my suffering

but they will not sleep in either one of their two shelters. they sleep in the water, my front steps, or on the bank by the water! ugg

Who is this pete person that everyone talks about?

Pete is a professional goose breeder in the UK who wrote the waterfowl hatching guide that is a sticky. That guide became a int'l published article in magazines. He also wrote a 2nd guide in goose thread about damaged air cells.

Under the Incubating sticky notes there is a moderator named Pete that talks about misaligned and detached air cells on goose eggs. I have sent him questions and pictures of my goose eggs but have never gotten a reply,

How are your air cells in your goose eggs QJ?
