and qj you rememebr how i was lookin at ancona eggs?
i was at my boyfriends moms today and was outside talkin to his boxer. while i herd her ducks and had never really got a good look at them (they were always on the pond) so i went to go find them.
she has 2 anconas. one may be a magpie. but 1 is deff an ancona.
they both looked to be female tho . no curly butt feathers.
she also has 3 khaki campbell drakes.
and atleast 1 muscovy drake.



OH and by duckies are just dancin away today =)

and i may have a chicken going broody. she is still in the barn tonight where she lays eggs. she didnt go to bed.

if she stays put for 3 days. im puttin eggs under her!!!
got my duck supplies today.
chick feed. new heat bulb. new waterer (our are old,, and glass so i got plastic finally)
bedding.
stackable tub thing for brooder.

70: Sweet Baby Rays is a 4 on the scale of BBQ sauces in KC. 10 being the highest.

Just found out that I can get KC Masterpiece sauces online here at "USA Foods, the All-American Grocery Store". They have Hot'n'Spicy, Southern Style and Original.

she hasnt gotten eggs the last couple years .
so my guess is they lay in the cattails along the pond and either something gets them, or they roll into the pond.
she said they have hatched out babies before, but the last time they did the took them on the pond and 1 by 1 the catfish got them.

lol . well my calls are laying now. and havent stopped even with 10 degree weather.
so i think shes set on laying.
they will go in my incubator prolly 2 days before lockdown,

no turtles. just huge catfish.
in the summer you can throw a little cat food on the surface and they all come up .
they are big.
they had them drown a cat once.

but they leave the adult ducks alone.
