Hey 70%, how did you decide on your handle? I like it, especially since I have choclate turkeys!

Hey Q.J. Whats your favorite? I like the Gates.....

Actually my fav is the KC Masterpiece mixed with the Gates. I haven't found a BBQ sauce that encompasses all the flavors I want.
The KC has the thick, molasses and brown sugar flavor, mixed with the vinegar, pepper taste of the gates. I want all that in one sauce. I will create it! LOL!

Pops out of KC KS proper. He was raised in Muncie, but it was a whole different area when he left in 1959. I guess it used to be nice, but its a bit less the way he remembers it now. He raised geese there.

Hey QJ, maybe we should exchange some receipes!! I like sweet and tangy, and I sometimes get the KC, and spice it up a bit. Never tried mixing them, but maybe I will.

We can actually get a lot of very good American beer here - stuff from small breweries. I just won't be drinking Budweiser or the like.

Thanks for the offer of sending a different kind of sauce if the KC doesn't hit the mark! I'm sure it'll be excellent. You are obivously a sauce connoisseur.

My username comes from the fact that I don't eat chocolate with less than a 70% cocoa content, meaning I only like really dark chocolate

70%, what do you have to cook on the BarB? We have both white and brown quail, so either white or dark meet. Thought about keeping tiny game chickens for the one serving two color meat, but the quail are fun. we like the little thimble babies with toothpick legs!

Here in my part of Kansas we get pretty mild weather compared to other parts of the midwest. We cook out A LOT!! Where you from in Aussie land? got family there, kinda everywhere.

Oh girl. Mix the KC with the Gates. THAT is the perfect BBQ sauce. Even better if you add a dash of cinnamon.
