I must be dense, becasue I can't seem to find breeders here anywhere! I stumble onto them, like on this thread.

QuackerJack- your constant curiosity has made me itch to candle the eggs I just put in Friday! Usually I wait, but now I want to see blood vessels and moving blobs!

Still, I think you both got SA from the same farm we did last year. We had a very bad hatch rate from the dozen eggs we set.

Marty, it will be fall before I release any off spring from Peaches and McGraw. I have an egg or two promised from her to another breeder I am swapping eggs with. Other than that we will hatch everything she lays and then make our picks and sell the rest. As juveniles they can ship as singles, but geese do better living in pairs or flocks. This pairing can produce Buffs, Lilac, Blue, and Grey as well as splits.

Marty, I am always willing to point others in the direction of someone I have bought from, or respect and would buy from. Just say the breed, if I know someone I will tell you.

I think a pair would be perfect. They would be so lovely in the knot gardens picking off beetles and nipping the greens! I do have a large fenced garden (its a historic property) that has been there over 100 years. I never let the ducks out there, because they tend to lay their darned eggs where I can't find them!! Geese would be perfect.

Can you put me on a waiting list for fall?? That'll keep me from buying eggs off ebay, and being all bummed. See, you could resuce me from my weakness......LOL
