Geese sounds frustraiting. I usually ship or receive eggs in cartons sized to the egg, and stuffed around it and shoved into another box. My shipped egg hatch rate is only about 50-60% for turkeys, but the quial fair better.
Maybe the egg size (more mass pressing on air sac) has an influence here. Hmm... How do they pack goose eggs for shipping, anyway?

In my opinion, they are better hatchers than anything else. Corturnix are a close second. (opinioin only folks)
