And, since they apparently had a few beers on the way home (boss accidently stapped hubby in the wrist and felt bad so bought the crew beer) and I had laid a nice guilt trip on him I used the opportunity to introduce them to the geese.   Really need a devil face smiley here. Not a word from him, although he may have drank a few more than I thought because he keeps calling them little duck ducks and talking baby talk to him, but I think all's well on that front. And I need an angel face smiley here.

A few minutes after my post I got a call from the post office. I got my 2 goslings and 14 packing peanuts, all healthy and doing good. I'll post pics in a little bit!

OKAY First off I do not care what was in the box..... It is marked FRAGILE. Period.....

I swear their is a NICE Bootprint on the box. ALSO this only came from Oregon (just one state below me).....


I love the coment from the Lady at the PO....... It should have been marked hathcing eggs, it would have been handled better ..... WHAT WHAT !!!! So if it says hatching eggs fragile ~ Won't be mangled??? But if it is just marked Fragile it will be handled with less care??? REALLY REALLY !!! First off my Mail Lady Carrier rocks, It was not her handling ~ This is how she recieved it.

THEY actually double bagged it in plastic because it was oozing all over her other mail !

I ALSO made my mail carrier stay there & watch me open it, and showed her how each egg was individually bubble wrapped (though it was hard to tell becase they were SMASHED (not broken but) SMASHED

So this is not a case of a dropped box, & is not a case of "what the shipper did or didn't do" This is just POOR PRACTICE!!!!!

I can totally understand why you're tee'd off! I haven't ordered shipped hatching eggs before, and after seeing this, I may never do so.

I have had alot of good shipped eggs, & will continue to buy them, it just makes me furious that they can disregard FRAGILE..... Just my Rant

To make up my my bogan self.... (COCOA my new fave word

) I would use slapper but I have a small lisp and avoid words with an "S" at all costs ~ Hence the names of my kids !

oh I took new pics of my Jerseys, Cochins, Iowa Blues, WHF Lav Orps, Lemon Cuckoo Marans ( I got 2 Chocolates ~ sorry Quackers), & my LIght & Dark Brahmas ! Will post them soon !!!
