Thanks for making me feel better about the little ducky, Julie.

Question for ya.... the one ducky that hatched ok 14 hours ago looks ready to be moved to tank. But he has yolk string and pieces of shell/membrane stuck bad on his back (don't think it is his, but not sure??). Should I try to remove it and if so, how? Should I just leave him in bator until it is gone... or not worry about it and put him in brooder tank?

I remove the pieces stuck with a warm wet washcloth. If he is doing good I don't see why you couldn't move the duckie to the brooder?

The last pictures look like a live baby it just not as far along as the other two. It may or may not make it to pip but I would leave it for now and wait it out We have hope it will pop right now

to give you hope I have had a lot look like that and taken two or three days longer to hatch but still do.

Celtic!!! Your #3 egg has internally pipped now, #2 & #4 have moved all the way into the aircell and are peeping, and #1 has almost pipped. The ebay eggs are rocking and pulsing the membrane, but no distinct shadows yet.

I still have my special needs duckies in the hatcher and do not want to move them just yet.... should I start bumping humidity in the goose bator even though the large dewlap have not internally pipped yet?

Hey Julie, how are your goslings doing? Do you keep them in same brooder as your call babies? Do you feed them the same thing?

I'm trying to get prepared in hopes the goosies hatch ok in the next 24-48 hours.

They are all in the same brooder together. The calls are still itty bitty though, and the geese are growing fast so I don't know how much longer they'll be sharing the brooder. Trying for as long as possible though, I'm hoping the goslings will be a good influence and keep the ducklings from going through the humans are terrifying run away stage, lol.
