Well I came home to 2 boxes of eggs ! One are my ugly polish things ~ Out of my 12+ eggs I got 17 eggs

& I have a sheetload of Cheeko's & my eggs in LD
as well as Jules eggs, and Some more Lemon Blue Cochins & Gold Laced Cochins ~ Tomorrow is hatch day

i have lots of mud around with the snow melting and all so they have been having a ball making messes and getting all dirty

How's your baby with its chicken momma doing??

The bub with the chicken momma is doing really well. I was watching them yesterday when the chicken was dustbathing. The duckling just sits down beside her and waits till she's done. Cute. Will put up some more pics of them too, later on.

thank you Iain my blues are my babys i hold them very close to my heart ive spent almost a year looking for a drake for them.. i need to just stop being pickie and get one and cull babys as i hatch

You have such nice, sturdy looking Swedish. Good solid bodies and necks, nice oval heads. And great leg colour. Looks like you also have some nice lacing going on there as well. I like!!!!!!

celtic mentioned that i should float test the eggs to see if the chicks have died.
if i flloat test them , and the chicks died, they will float right?

if so i am about to do this. that way if they are dead i can get them out of my incubator and i will put my calls in in the morning
