Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

My temp is about 98 and humidity is a little questionable. I have 2 hygrometers in there. One says 75% and the other says 50%, so I'm guessing it's somewhere in between?? They're in a hovabator, btw.

La genia, need more info. Type of bator? Temp during incubation and temp now? Same question for humidity?

You may need to try pipping. There are ways to check to see if they are alive, too.

Yeah, went to the neighbors to watch the race, but it never started, rain delay. came back home and cleaned the babdy chicks/ducks bedding and gave them some new food. Had to catch up on facebook and now I am here.

Hi everyone! I'm joining this thread, as it seems the place to go for continuous advice/encouragement. My ancona eggs are at the end of day 28 and I haven't seen any of them wiggle all day. I'm sitting right next to the bator, going through boxes, so I'm keeping a really close eye on them. 5 of the 6 stopped rocking about 2 days ago. The other was rocking late last night, but I haven't seen anything at all today. I want to POKE HOLES in ALL OF THEM so they can BREATHE!! I don't see any movement in them at all, anymore and I'm VERY, VERY worried!!

Also ducks have a tendancy to be very active then stop for a while they are very emotional hatches anyone here will tell you that. No activity for two days kinda scares me though. They still be okay. But tomarrow if it were me I'd candle to see if there is any inside activity then put a wet sponge in to keep humidity up
