Some of the potential parents of my eggs...

The far left f&w girl is one of the two runners who went broody at the farm last summer. The other broody runner looks almost exactly like her. I have four babies, two from each mom, and a couple of them have turned out to be really good quality runners.

I need to have a stretch of dry days here so I can actually get some recent pics of my quack pack.

The good quality ones do. The poorer quality ones kinda slouch in a half-run, half-waddle.

This girl is one of the babies I got from the farm last year. She's probably got the best stance of all my runners. (I don't raise for show so they are all equally loved)

Here's another pic of part of my flock. There's a couple khakis, a swede and a cayuga in this photo. The khaki-colored runner drake in the rear also came from the farm. He was the low drake in the flock. He's much happier with my mellow bunch. You'll notice the runners in this photo are not standing tall. A poor quality runner has a stance like a good quality khaki. Hope I explained that well...
