I'm in love with blue eggs now. I HAVE TO GET BLUE EGG LAYING DUCKS!!!! Where??? Who has them??? Who actually knows how to ship them without having them come out like those two unfortunate batches......... (

The same place as my 6 ancona babies..... which is also the same place that then sent me 9 broken eggs!

ETA: And she sent Christine 5 broken eggs!

I have not had any problems with them hatching. They pop right out just like my mallards but never tried to hatch calls before.

I have hatched only one call & was my 1st attempt at hatching ducks, I got one extra and was a call/ that was sent with my cayugas. I guess I am lucky, it started to pip & then it zipped.

I was thinking about you. Its too bad the lady didn't do anything more. Pack poorly, poor customer service policy, and completly oblivious to being the cause of the heartache.

I think I'll pass, and wait for one of you instead. I mean, your babies will be laying here in another 7 monthes (You know, after they hatch and grow and all!) Just stick in a light this fall, and you'll be getting eggs all winter.

I want to buy the blue ones!!!

Boondockers got Holderread's Ancona flock. They're in Oregon, but they ship. I'm planning on driving down there in a month or so to pick up ducklings.

You should use those coop cleaning in the compost pile that will feed the greens you feed your duckies next year. Do you garden?

I'll be happy to ship you hatching eggs this fall! So far I've got 2 chocs, 1 blue, 1 lavender and 1 silver... with a few more on the way (hopefully!!) They better give me blue eggs!
