Well, actually, I never wanted one, and they are ugly. But, on the good side, their meat tastes like veal, and once DH found that out (someone had some this weekend and told him at work how awesome and impressive the beast meat is) he just said, go see if they got any of them covie ducks. I new what he meant, and their were some going kinda chieap, so..... (Man, my mom is gonna tease the crap out of me!)

What a weird coincidence! My hubby is Scottish too, although born in uk. He and his brother were decked out in blackwatch outfits, and we had a bagpipe player too. It was a great time.

Marty hit ChickO up for Muscovy's she has really pretty Muscovy's & I do not know how much she is charging but she is way Cheaper than Ebay scovies & I am going to auction this Sat & if there are nay eggs you guys want me to look out for let me know & I can ship them out to you ~ there was fresh hatching ~18 Muscovy eggs that went for $3 last weekend, along with MANY other breeds (where I got my Pilgrim eggs) I did miss out on 2 American buff goose eggs (because I was distracted by hot Brit hubby

I have a goose in my lap.

Hubby asked what she was. I said, "A sabastopol." He says, "Is that a chicken?"

So anyway, he knows it's a goose and he doesn't care. He held her for like an hour tonight. I'll get the pics from his phone, but it's not connecting to the internet for some reason.

Anyway, Hubby wants to name her "Spirit". Ugh. Really? So I'm calling her spirit when he's around and thinking of a better name for later. LMBO.
