Just saw this. If the veins are big then so is the yolk. And if it can peep it can breathe. So you're doing exactly what I would.

Phew! Thanks for the help! This is my first time with a truly shrink wrapped chick and although I'm not it's "Mommy" the instincts are still there! LOL!

How many drakes does it take to service 2 females.. uh.. that would be MORE THAN 2 apparently!!

Good grief.

The only one that is growing is and older one from Julie hen.. so I suspect that it's the last surviving spermy because it would be the very end of that time.. Since it's been in there a week or more and I picked it up 2 weeks ago. It's pushin' it.. but I guess we'll find out!

i knew what you ment lol.
and yea i thought they were small to but ive kept my humidity under 40.
they just wont grow and i cant get it any lower lol.
its hard enuff keeping it at that with water in one of the tunnels.
i swear those little buggers keeps bumping the humidity which makes it harder for me.

They are much smaller eggs. But really they're probably the same as the mallard. I bet they start to drop. Can you open a vent for my ventilation? That's supposed to help too.

i may try that tomarrow. i hope it doesnt drop my temp..
they should start dipping soon.
and i bed these eggs are smalled than the mallards they are tiny.
like smaller than a cochin chicken egg

give it time he'll get it right
