hey guess what............. i candled my replacement duck eggs and out of the 11 i put in the bator (1 broke during shipping) i have 10 developing and 1 with a blood ring (tossed) and only one has a wonky air cell

You know, when I went I was joking around with hubby the only reason I went was to find turkey eggs (we were mushroom hunting). I had long since given up on either and we were heading back up the tracks to the car when I noticed something roll away a little from where hubby stepped. I looked around in the tree and in the grass but couldn't figure out where it came from. So, of course I had to bring it home, couldn't leave the poor baby out in the woods all alone.
Hubby wants to go mushroom hunting tomorrow. After all the ones we found in our backyard...
..maybe I should bring an egg carton or some bubblewrap.
