You need to call the police and report a dog attack. Owners of dogs are required to keep them under control at all times. Dogs are not forgiven or permitted to attack another person, persons child, pet or livestock. You have to report and have the goslings body as evidence so they have to pay you what it would cost to replace her at her current age, and quality. Please don't let any time pass. Will PM you now my number if you need/want to call me.
If you need a receipt for her I can get you one and a quote for replacement cost to include shipping. They need to be held responsible. When and if you are ready let me know we have a number of goslings growing out and can make arrangements to get one to you. Next week we have limited days with low temps, but there will be more ahead.

Well I am going to sign off for the night. I think I cried enough that I am tired now. I will be seeing some of most of my pekins leaving tomorrow. I think there will be 11 of them leaving. And then I need to get rid of 11 chickens. My Anconas will be hatching next week and then my Toulouse geese should be hatching after them.

I hope your neighbors do the right thing and replace your goose. I know any new goose won't be the same as Sadie, but it's the principal of things.

Walked outside to put my truck away and could smell smoke. Went searching all over from the coops to the brooder house to the pool pump and AC units. Nothing here, but seeing on the news just north of us up I-95 is having a major fire that forced people out of homes and burnt one to the ground.

Scary. Hope everyone involved is okay!

Pocket is slowly starting to resemble a baby squirrel instead of a rat. At least with her the ugly phase is over, she just gets cuter from here on out.

I love Pocket so much! It seems like she gets more fur every day!

i might be extra busy with chicklets/ducklets on top of desserts/getting my new mixer/baby shower cake/ building my greenhouse so the meaties have a place to live when they come early next week/and subbing at the school

3 of my ducks are internally pipped and 2 are working on it!!! they are due saturday

i know the 3 are because i could hear tapping against the shell when i put it up to my ear

that leaves 5 more that look right on schedule, 1 i am a bit worried about it has a very wonky air cell! I will have to steam the bathroom in the morning to monitor that egg

humidity is in the mid 50's and climbing

I think I'm going to have early hatchers this time around (again). I'm going to lockdown a day early just because.
