Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Do you want eggs or chicks Marty? If eggs to hatch I can make recomendations for them for right now buying. If you want to wait or want chicks let me do some digging, or our sons flock will start laying soon and will be isolated black coppers that I am sure he will part with some eggs from. His flock is a very nice but young BCM he is working on, mine is an EE flock we have introduced pure Ameracuana blood into to increase egg color.

Eggso or chicks, but if you can do chicks, that makes it better for shipping as the weather will warm up very quckly here. My window of egg-portunity is almost closed. I can wait a month, if that means i can get the two other egg colors I want from one single shipment. Thanks!

Question for those of you who use poly-vi-sol: how much do you give? I bought the kind without iron for my little duckling with the twisted neck. I'm afraid to OD him, though. I gave him a couple drops last night, but have no idea if it was the right amount. I don't want to kill him by using too much.

Also, how long does it take to cure wry neck from a vitamin deficiency?

I can vouch for Celtic's EE chicks being very cute.

I have 6 of them in my backyard right now. I plan on keeping a pair, even though I really didn't want another roo around.

I can't wait until they feather out a little. I have one blackish, 2 bluish, 2 chipmunks, and one pretty cream colored one I really hope is a girl.

Got a closer pic of the dark little guy, he is bold as brass, he is.

They sound lovely. I like to have a nice little mixer of layors. I don't like rooster crows, but I'd probobly keep one male w/girls of each variety (EE and Black Moran) just to keep the fertile eggs coming. Maybe if I shut the boys up inside the garage every night.... (I really hate roosters crowing at 4:45 A.M. here)
