You would call this color Tri-color. It's not the most desired Tri-coloring because it's really more of a penciling. Seems that the penciled ones always come out hooded like that with the collar. Personally I think it has to do with the runner duck ancestry in them. It would be a cull if your breeding Anconas but they are fine to keep for eggs or backyard bug control.
Ours do look to be very similiar in color. So what color is he? Would you call that chocolate or blue? He seems to have both. Chocolate with blue undertones? He's from Aurora eggs, too, right?

Now I am down to only 2 cayugas & an Embden Gosling, & in the Brooder 1 Pekin, 2 sebbies, & 2 Pilgrims! How does this happen ?? (for H2OFowl)

& no I will not eat a sebbie !

Funny stuff Sue! I think this one may be my fault. Oops, my bad. ;)

Jaz, glad to see you around again. I can't keep track of the comings and goings of birds at you place.

I can't wait to hatch Peacocks! I bought 3 from auction & none were fertile!

Oh I don't hatch nearly as many.... Or sell as many either. I am just watching my numbers of birds climb. Glad I am done with duck eggs as soon as my cayugas hatch in a few days (except one lonely silver apple on day 8).
