little F"er wouldn't make it long around here the only reason i am able to keep the two i have is because they are big babies and the kids love them

He's felt my wrath many many times, lol. I have a blue Orp roo that is a huge sweetheart...his name is Azule...and he won't let the other roo anywhere near the girls.

Ok, my WH are acting weird! I got 2 eggs on saturday, and then.... NOTHING!... What the heck!?

Molting?

I have someone driving 128 milessss. to but 1 duckling.
she is coming to get my 8 week old black bibbed (hershey)
i guess she had 2 BEI ducklings and something happened to 1. so she needs a friend for him.

shes going to spend 4Xs as muhc is gas as shes about to pay for a duckling

I believe Butters is ready to be discharged from the hospital! I need to do some shifting around in the brooders, and will put him and his silkie buddy in with the others once I have a clean brooder for them. Going to put them all in a bigger brooder, then add Uno.

OK, heres my idea! I have 2 brooders, and 2 lamps. And 10 ducklings, and 4 goslings.

Brooder #1: 1 pair of goslings, 4 WH ducklings, and 1 appleyard duckling.

Brooder #2: 1 pair of goslings, 2 silkie ducklings, 2 WH ducklings, and 1 runner.

Thats for at night. Ducklings are outside during the day, cause they are so freaking big! Goslings wont go out in the play pen till they are at leased 2, 3 weeks old....



So tell me about your goslings guys! I'm so excited for mine, I can't even begin! Do any of you have some pics you can post? Baby geese are so darn cute!!

I love my goslings! They moved out for good at three weeks. They still wait at the gate for me to pick them up and put them to bed at night.

I GOT MY FIRST CAYUGA DUCK EGG TODAY !!!

Want to fill my bator with some Duck, Chicken , Goose, & Guinea eggs, (also some silkie)! What do ya all have for me to hatch ???

I'm going to be completely out of eggs this week. LOts of bulk orders out of the blue. Not even one little egg for me to put in the bator. Which is probably good. I'm really dreaming of that break from hatching now...

so i just may have saved 2 upside ducklings.
pulled both their heads out. they opened their eyes and peeped at me. i guess that was their thank you.

i opened one of the eggs a little to see about SW
guess what everyone was.(i even had the humidity up at 84% before everyone int pipped. (i give up on this whole sw thing. its w/e at this point. ill just assist the hatches and not complain)
thats how i found the 2 upside down guys.

It was sooo much fun seeing them enjoy their sunny day !

there is a third mystery babies from this hatch but her color is hard to capture in pictures. she looks white in pics.

I figure if I express my feelings in picture it will do less harm to the general public.

i picked him up and was getting ready to tie it off and he took his last breath

but everyone else is soo far doing good.
1 is a little less active.
but the rest are peeping and moving.

that's alright i was helping hubby fix his trailer today and this is how it went

me: do you want me to hold it down while you screw it
