I lost a baby chicken

I went out to gather babies up to put them away and one of my little polish chicks is gone. Its a black one with a white cap. Has anybody seen it? I have looked everywhere for it.
seen it heading down 35 towards Kevins
I'm gonna start using this one on random threads:

Here is some more of my "babies" that aren't so little any more.

Look at the weird looking ancona too. Strange isn't it
seen that one on a cartoon
So my bad hatch is still going... kinda. One pipped and living out of 11.

My next hatch locks down on Friday. At least solo baby won't be alone for long. Assuming some silky ducklings decide to hatch for a change.

Barley is way sagging and getting a dewlap too! He/she has a lot of wing feathers coming in and is losing the fuzz on neck. I will get a pic in the morning and post.
I bought the trio tonight and will be shipped on Tuesday! They are 3-4 weeks old and smaller than barley, so I think they should get along ok.

I hear ya about the Cayuga hatching, but I am not killing myself to help it. Either it makes it on it's own, or it doesn't. And with my luck, it will hatch and be a boy.
Hope your grey improves!

Steep loss of quail... we're down to 20-30 from over 50 hatching. Didn't realize they needed so much room and are really brutal little things. On the other hand "Survival of the fittest" so we will design and build new brooders before we hatch any more of the little buggers, lol
we have little quail running around with guns a knives on killin spree

Here is a pic of my new trio of buffs. Wish they were already on their way... but with memorial day holiday, Carole felt it best to wait until Tuesday to ship.

Purple???? Ok you MUST share, never seen purple (yes there are lilac and lavender but neither are really purple) ok..... Coffee in hand waiting for a picture.
ok, smarty pants. I said purple because I didn't know what the right color word was. It's darker so I'd say more lavender than lilac. If that sounds right.

I'll get a pic, but it's be a minute. I have to run for feed right quick.

Nope, not gonna wait, do it now!

Coming from Lisa's birds I would guess gray before seeing.

Thanks!!! I was very relieved that she had this trio, even if they are a bit older. We are thinking they are about 4 weeks old. Carole talked about having to use a bigger box than what is used for hatchlings and she is still worried about getting all three to fit. She said she may have to ship them in two boxes and add chicks or a grey hatchling for warmth for the solo buff, if necessary.

ETA: Celtic, do you think it is safe to ship all 3 in one medium box? What would you do to make sure they got here safely??
